Why C.carnea here Matt? The flowering time more typicall of C.fuscata (i imagine both are in that area), and the labellum side lobes are incuved (which I find on C.fuscata more than C.carnea). It's a shame we don't have a side view to see the front margins of the labellum side lobes.

Hi Tapirlord, I neglected to add some detail - now added. Stem is green and robust, several plants had more than one flower and overall flower is 10cent size to fuscata 5cent size.

@Tapirlord my assessment was based on what I thought was a robust green stem as well as the general 'look' of the flower having a fairly even pink colour and somewhat broader tepals. I do realise it is a bit early for C. carnea, but spring also started early this year.

Ahh sweet, no doubt about this one as C.carnea then. Appreciate the clarification. :)
