User's notes

I think these are beetle larvae that have perhaps been predated upon by flies or some other insect that laid eggs inside them, and they are in the process of decomposition. Hope they are dead and not alive. There were about 50 small somethings sitting on top of one of them but too small for my camera to see them.

Actually, they are weevil larvae and not injured.
