Need to add Calomela maculicollis to leaf beetle list

This is not Calomela. Calomela has confused elytral puncturation but this beetle has them in ten straight rows. It is probably Callidemum. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/192796713

The closest match I can find currently (on the back of @martinl comment above) is Callidemum limbatum. Fits well with head & lateral pronotum markings, the elytral punctuations & the elytral coloured flange line (but has a smaller central pronotum dot instead of the distinct diamond-shape). The only sightings I can find are east coastline Qld just above border of NSW (& only a few photos at all) so you’re a fair bit further south. Given we now have 7 sightings recorded with the central pronotum diamond marking I would suspect it’s likely a different species to Callidemum limbatum but a good indicator we’re on the right track. I’m going to put this through as Genus-level for now. Happy to be corrected down the track by someone with more experience with this genera😊
