This appear to be a Cantharellus sp, but unfortunately not one I am familar with

I agree with Teresa that this is a Cantharellus. Looks a 'bit' different due to malformation of the pileus (cap) surface with gill-like structures. This is called 'rosecomb' and is said to be caused by contamination of substrate with products such as oil, diesel or distillate fumes. Good record.
