User's notes

I can't be certain of the species and I assuming that they were mullet from their shape. They were in a large group beside the bridge where the Comerang Forest Road crosses the Tuross River. There the river had water in it but some areas were deeper than others. I would estimate that the fish were at least 15 cm long, if not more. I was photographing down from the bridge so I didn't get a close look.

Likely Mugil this far upstream. Can't quite see pectoral fin spot or head shape, but Mugil seems more likely than Myxus.
