User's notes

I was at Willow Park and I noticed these trees in 'flower'. There are lots of gum trees planted out in the open like these were and a few older foreign deciduous trees but these were neither. What kind of tree flowers in late summer/autumn? Are these even flowers? There were bees and flies all over them (above my head height mostly). The leaves were quite small. The trunks narrow but 'hairy' bark.
