Stems seem hairy, but correct me if i'm wrong. H.circumdans is closely related to H.monogyna

Yes, you are correct: the woody branches are indeed somewhat hairy: plus, the stamen number looks more likely to be 15 at least (even though photo does not show in good detail clearly). Thanks for picking that up.
