Several of these snails were observed, all on salt tolerant plants very close to and beside a mangrove swamp. Not seen further back in the sandy back beach areas.

Littoraria filosa Family Littorinidae. A marine periwinkle that lives in mangroves and adjacent littoral vegetation. Usually found on leaves and trunks of mangroves and adjacent littoral vegetation. Common and widespread in Queensland
