A new species for NatureMapr' s South Coast region when confirmed., This Magpie moth species has a tropical Australian and South-east Asian distribution. Excellent photo.

N. baulus and N. amicus can only be distinguished by the size of the white spot on the hindwing.

The majority of sightings of Nyctemera moths on the south coast over the past 12 years have been N. amicus.
