_Polyscias purpurea_ small tree .
Healthy lowland foothills tropical rain forest, lower–storey, healthy spreading mature tree (about normal size for this species in my experiences);
budding, flowering, fruits growing well this season not ripe yet (when ripe fruits turn white coloured and swell more), and foliage (all shown here) .
Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, back part, ascending traverse up the slope of this foothill low ridge this track goes over, here before this track's more or less level most elevated stretch of this traverse around the sides of this foothill's ridges and gullies .
