A small tree with a somewhat weeping form, that lives from about 5 to 7 years. I know it as Native peach & presume the name refers to the leaf shape. It is attractive to birds for the bounty of small fruits (photos 4 & 5) that appear from about March. The flowers are minute & cream coloured (photos 1 & 2). Graziers regard it as a pest as it is poisonous to cattle.
