This moth is very close to M. sphenotis, but differs from BOLD and iNat examples. It lacks a pale line from the forewing base to the white bar across the wing. Also the sub terminal band is thicker.

Wendy, I think you are correct and I believe it is a better fit for BOLD's Margarosticha sp. ANIC1 = Margarosticha UB02Au = Margarosticha AH01Au
