Several Conogethes (genus) have similar markings and are difficult to distinguish. However, looking online, I'm suggesting this may well be C. evaxalis, and not C.diminutiva, to my eye, the other most similar species. https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/782241-Conogethes-evaxalis https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimen.php?processid=ANICN949-10 https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://biodiversity.org.au/afd/taxa/840b97c7-57d6-4d30-87c6-7dfbc2191a8c https://bie.ala.org.au/image-search/https%3A//biodiversity.org.au/afd/taxa/20901531-9947-434b-b212-0cbc01bb2fe4
My specimen is possibly missing the large spot on the hind wing and the two spots on the collar. The hind wings are folded but I would think something of the large dots would be showing, same for the collar spots where the antennae cross over where they should be.
