User's notes

Mossman Gorge. Forest, under canopy, healthy, small trees, fruits ripe and black seeds with red thin arils, inside the fruiting capsules showing. Ripe fruits, capsules dehisced 'split' open, revealing the black skinned (testa) seeds inside characteristically partially surrounding them red thin fleshy arils. This observation with the then Mossman Gorge based NPWS rangers of that time. Beside the walkway after crossing the first creek and around the corner where the track comes back onto the ground in the concreted path track walkway. 2015 July 2 4:08 pm.
