User's notes

Wonderful indigenous bee gathering pollen from, pollinating (presumed) and perhaps nectar from, flowers of this tree _Kayea larnachiana_ . A small individual, reproductively–mature tree, a healthy example of these usually taller and larger trees of this species in Mossman Gorge . https://naturemapr.org/sightings/4668863 Mossman Gorge, public short loop track last section before it meets the raised walkway of the main track. 2014 October 26th 12:20 – 12:23 pm . (In old BowerBird –shut down nowadays– was where I first added this sighting of this tree with this Nomiine bee _Mellitidia tomentifera_ —a halictid bee— photographs, identified therein by Bernhard Jacobi – thanks heaps for this identification for me ! ).
