_Beilschmiedia bancroftii_ fruiting tree . Healthy canopy tree above, foliage features, as well as, the fruiting well this season (shown here); and the last photo here shows this tree's canopy foliage and fruiting, using this camera's 8x zoom lens. Fruits (incl. pericarps) and nuts (mesocarps). on the ground from this canopy tree above. Showing the pericarps (loosely speaking: 'outer fruiting shells') of green outside – insides yellow–brown mesocarps (loosely speaking: 'the would be fruits' flesh). Inside these fruits, these the hard (loosely speaking: 'nuts') endocarps within, both ends of these endocarps ('nuts') have hard points, characteristic for this species compared with other trees' species in this wet tropics botanical Laurcaeae plants family. Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, after the upper Rex creek side track, up the track back section heading up the winding track section, on the way to the ridge, near other defunct track . 2015 February 2nd 2:12 – 2:35 pm .
