_Beilschmiedia bancroftii_ fruit .
Notable large fruit, with attached awesome spiky sticks made case, housing a caterpillar (larva) of moth species? (to add as a separate sighting).
On the ground from the forest canopy trees above.
Mossman Gorge, long circuit track on the way up to its ridge highest track point,
just up the hill towards the large prominent buttressed 'mahogany' tree _D. pettigrewianum_ (if starting from this large tree going back down the slope of this track ca. 20 m).
