User's notes

_Hibbertia australis_ N.A.Wakef. (s.l.) . Shown here: peduncles longer than 5mm and the bract(s) have a different form from the leaves, as clearly shown in my second photograph. (Local plants in this sand-stone-belt region, SE. Melb. were previously identified as: _H. riparia_ (sensu lato), and decades ago earlier again as: _H. stricta_ (sensu lato) ). Significant remnant veg'n, in Red Bluff Sandstone with sand dune veneer or lenses, seasonally moist soil slightly upslope from a remnant of a shallow ephemeral perched swamp . Vegetation matrix spp. include : _Themeda triandra_, _Austrostipa mollis_, _A. pubinodis_, _Lepidosperma laeve_ (locally formerly called *L. congestum*), _Dianella_ aff. _longifolia_, _Leptospermum continentale_, etc. . RMGC WPdk. 2016 December 6th 10 am .
