There are two records of Oxycanus aedisima inland from Mackay on the ALA, which looks similar to this moth.
Also one record of a plain brown E. australasiae only from near Mackay too at Eungella NP.

Yes, it was Ethan Beaver associated with E australasiaae sighting if I remember correctly.
