Healthy forest lower storey tree, foliage incl. leaves' details of characteristic venation, old axes of infructescences, branches, trunk .
No actual fertile material seen in searching this small tree.
Refer to my next observation of this species in fruit adjacent to nearby Noah Beach.
Marrdja botanical walk, return track after the mangroves, growing from the bank slope beside the inland edge of the bridge crossing over the creek which runs along the landward edge of the mangroves.
Nuwu bubu [Noah creek catchment, south of cape 'Tribute'],
'Oliver creek' area, Daintree National Park .
