User's notes

I’m not sure if this black and orange-tan wasp is itself a potter wasp, or a raider of potter wasp nests - I’ve never seen one carrying any mud! All black head and body, except for most of the rear-most part of the abdomen, which is orange-tan (photo 2), and the legs, which are a light brown (photo 1). Couldn’t observe the feet, this creature is always on the move, till it crawls right inside a mud-wasp nest. The wings are very narrow and appear to be a translucent or semi-opaque grey-black and possibly a clear or white spot towards the tips, (photos 2 & 4).
