User's notes

A cluster of medium large orange-brown fungi with a slimy textured surface (?only when found?). The underside was a light maize yellow with blackened areas on the stem and the pores under the cap, photos 2 & 3). I don’t know how old they were when I found them. Whilst there had been 3 days of rain prior to these photos , and a particularly heavy (45 mm) rain on that day, the 5 days after were dry, during which they devolved to a very slimy mass, rather than drying out and withering.
