_Hicksbeachia pilosa_ . Wonderful spectacular flowering, huge lobed leaves, small trees. With multiple species of ants feeding on some parts of these flowers (including this pony ant). Individual flowers circa 15mm long. Conflorescence circa 25cm long and 25mm diameter. Endemic restricted to the Wet Tropics (Au). Mossman Gorge, near long circuit track, ... .
