Healthy rainforest under-storey, sapling, with colourful foliage new growth, including winged stems, and the terminal bud apparently hairy (cf. _Backhousia hughesii_ ) .
Mossman Gorge, in the regenerating old heli-pad area used decades ago, just off, before the start of the suspension bridge over Rex Creek .
