_Diospyros uvida_ mature trees . Healthy always moist forest lower storey mature (small) trees, fruiting well this season, both ripe and old fruits from the trees' canopies above on the ground below and rotted revealing the many brown and two–sides angled, one–side rounded, seeds and the remaining calyx, and parts of the canopy foliage (shown here) . Mossman Gorge, beside the track uphill from end of the suspension bridge towards the lookout to Manjal Dimbi, between the River and Rex creek . 2015 February 23rd 8:31–9:29 am .
