_Lasjia whelanii_ tree . Healthy lowland tropical rain forest, canopy tree, fruiting, with some minority few remaining fruits still on the canopy branches' ends, many more already dispersed and canopy foliage (all shown here) . Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, back part, viewed and photographed from just before side track rock steps down to Rex Creek, this tree's trunk grows from the ground ca. 10–20m off the long circuit track down the upper bank of Rex Creek . 2014 October 28th 2:05–2:22 pm .
