_Lasjia whelanii_ wonderful flowering tree(s) .
Healthy always moist lowland tropical rain forest above Rex Creek bank, just up–slope from the confluence with Mossman River,
wonderful healthy tree(s) canopy, flowering, more inflorescences' still budding up including some fallen on to the ground below, and canopy foliage from the side and from below including some rusty–colourful new foliage growth (all shown here) .
This individual photograph tree's trunk narrow diameter – this local population has much larger diameter trees too .
Mossman Gorge, Rex Creek south bank forest, just upstream of suspension bridge .
