_Castanospermum australe_ 'black bean' canopy tree Healthy lowland tropical rain forest foothills, healthy canopy tree, its canopy flowering well this season, including open flowers and more in bud and many finished flowers dropped from its canopy above on the ground below, partially leafless this flowering season; the trunk and habit (all shown here) . Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, back part, highest elevation stretches where it traverses foothills low ridges and small gullies between them . 2014 October 28th 2:59–3:16 pm .
