To ID – i have a identification candidate of _Premna limbata_? to confirm or reject?
Large liana with ex-side branch long 'spines', of course grown off the branchlets' nodes;
small leaves, with their margins more or less crenate or serrate or smooth (to confirm?), simple (not compound), ovate shaped (mostly?);
and pale brown finely ribbed and/or flaky bark on older larger diameter branches (eg. > 10mm diameter) .
Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, back part area .

Suggested–only identification of this vine plant more or less mature. I followed on from and checked this from, this sapling much smaller plant: Glossocarya hemiderma . I have checked all of the sources i have put together in making this species page: Glossocarya hemiderma . Furthermore the Au revision of this genus by Munir (1990) and some more sources not so reliable. I have more checking to do, so far this checks out as a so well matching identification, yet, still to compare the two other _Glossocarya_ spp. _G. coriacea_ and _G. calcicola_ and some other less likely identitifcation candidates .
