_Polyalthia submontana_ subsp. _submontana_ wonderful small tree with unripe fruits .
Healthy lowland tropical rain forest, lower–storey, healthy tree with growing young fruits (apocarps) far from ripe and foliage (shown here) .
Mossman Gorge, long circuit track ca. one third the way around, in the bends after this part of this track passes by close to Rex Creek not far upstream of the lookout to Manjal Dimbi .
