_Dichapetalum australianum_ vine fruiting ripe .
Healthy lowland tropical rain forest edge,
healthy vine and scrambler, growing up a tree,
fruiting well this season ripe capsules open and displaying these bright red fleshy arils surrounding the seeds, clearly focussed photographs here showing more details of these features,
and a bit of the foliage (shown here) .
Mossman Gorge, picnic area south–eastern corner .
