_Blepharocarya involucrigera_ fresh wonderful nut . Healthy lowland tropical rain forest, nut fringed with hairs, fresh looking, likely a seed inside, from the forest canopy tree(s) above on the ground below . Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, about one quarter the way around, beside the straight flat stretch most of the way along it, after it starts after the rock steps up the elevation to this stretches start at the area of the Actephila latifolia trees and the trees' trunks graft, and before this stretches end at the 90º turn leading on towards and hence well before the area of the obscured off to the east of this track: pig fence trap . 2016 December 13th 4:03 pm .
