_Mischocarpus exangulatus_ tree flowering .
Healthy lowland tropical rain forest, old gap in the canopy area,
mid.–storey healthy tree, flowering well this season, budding more flowers yet to come out, and foliage including some brightly coloured new growth (all shown here in the distance perhaps 20m in from the road side with zoom lens used from the road side) .
Mossman Gorge, viewed ca. 20m away in the forest, from entrance road side point ca. 200–150m south of picnic, toilet block and shuttle bus turning circle area .
