Healthy lowland tropical rain forest – road edge, lower–storey, healthy population of small trees, suckering (ramets' multiple stems), foliage including characteristic features of these peltate leaves such as unique venation, old senescent leaves characteristically have red colour, and so on, habit and trunk (all shown here) .
