Oligonema verrucosum

Sporangia:- pyriform to obovoid in groups clusted by their united stems to 4mm tall, ochraceous yellow.

Peridium:- single, thin, membranous pale yellow with granular deposits; leaving petaloid lobes after dehiscence.

Capillitium:- free cylindrical elaters with spiral bands bearing a few scattered spines with short tapering tips.

Stalk:-  weak reddish brown, darker at the base, same flattened and coalescing.

Spores:- Yellow on mass, paler by transmitted light and prominently reticulate.

Substrate:- dead wood
