Blastobasis (genus)

These moths generally have brown forewings with a broad pale anteromedial line. The hindwings are pointed and pale brown. The wingspans are about 1.5 cms. The normal posture is with forewings are slightly cylindrically curved, and held parallel and touching.  The male labial palpi are upcurved and  thick and blunt, but the female palpi are upcurved and thin like many Oecophoridae.
