Nola argentea (Silver Tuft-moth)

The adult moth of this species has off-white forewings each with a number of spots of raised brown scales of various sizes. The hindwings are off-white, each shading to pale brown at the wingtip. The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms. The species has been found in Australia in Northern Territory,  Queensland, and  New South Wales.
