Distribution and Ecology

Occurs in Cape York Peninsula, the wet tropics bio-region NE. Qld, central eastern Qld. and southwards as far as the New South Wales–Victoria border. 
Altitudinal range from near sea level to 900 m.
Grows in monsoon forest, the drier, more seasonal rain forest and dry scrubs.

Grows in rainforest, monsoon forest, the drier, more seasonal rain forest, dry scrubs and riverine vegetation throughout it's range.
