Geophilomorpha (Order) (Soil centipedes)

Extremely elongated centipedes. usually pale in colour with a yellowish tan head. body consists of 33 or more segments, always with an odd number of leg pairs. eyes always absent and head is rectangular in shape. antennae filiform with 14 segments. adapted for burrowing slowly in the substrate.
