Periplaneta sp. (genus) (Unidentified Periplaneta cockroach)
Family Blattidae.
Large, flattened, reddish cockroaches best known as urban pests in warmer parts of the country, although they may persist indoors in cooler climates. The pest species are introduced, evidently from Africa and/or the Middle East.
