Phoracantha (genus) (Longhorn beetle)
No species of this genus are pests in their native Australian range, but P. semipunctata and P. recurva are invasive pests of eucalypts on other continents. There are 41 species of Phoracantha in Australia. Within each species, the wing markings are quite consistent, and therefore useful in identification.
