Pison sp. (genus) (Black mud-dauber wasp)


Family Crabronidae. These wasps make mud nests in crevices and holes. Around human habitation the nests are often on the exterior of buildings or in garden equipment or machinery. They are packed with paralyzed spiders, on which eggs are laid before the nest is sealed.
