A small to medium-sized tree with extensive dark grey rough-bark, very small ovoid buds and cupular-obconical fruit. In New South Wales it occurs from Cox's River north of Lithgow to Crookwell on the Central Tablelands, to the Southern Tablelands around Nerriga, Braidwood and Jerangle, and has a small occurrence near Woodend in central Victoria. https://apps.lucidcentral.org/euclid/text/entities/eucalyptus_aggregata.htm
