Nature lover, amateur wanderer, professional noticer of tiny things.
Usually found hiking through the Aussie bush, stopping every few metres because I’ve spotted a bird, beetle, flower, fungus, interesting leaf, suspiciously excellent rock, or something else that absolutely requires a photo.
I’m not a botanist, zoologist, ecologist or conservationist, I'm just endlessly curious about the world around me and very fond of the art of noticing. I love learning the names and stories of the plants, animals and insects I stumble across, and NatureMapr gives all those little bush encounters somewhere to live.
Mostly here to walk slowly, look closely, take too many photos, and occasionally discover that the “rare mystery creature” I found is, in fact, extremely common.
