I lean towards Taxeotis adelpha which also has dark palps and face and consistently has the dark patch near the tornus https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimens.php?taxid=329426
The dark palps, dark 'face' and the light head plus the forewing shape are a good match for T. subvelaria. See here:- https://biocache.ala.org.au/occurrences/68cc9210-1410-4746-85a5-500d529026ce See also:- https://biocache.ala.org.au/occurrences/3dc60473-7bda-49ca-81a0-6747e8615479
This is similar to photos of the larva of Ciampa arietaria, but we do not know how many other species in Diptychini have larvae looking like this because there are published photos of the larvae of only 57 out of the 174 species in this tribe, and this could be one of the other 117.
