User's notes

Out posing on a perch tree across the road, singing happily, knowing the sun angle and distance was the worst arrangement for my photos. I'm torn on the ID, as it doesn't appear to have the black eye stripe I see in the books for pallidus, and has a brownish throat and vent area, a bit like a fantail - but a white belly. The eye-ring seems quite clear, so I guess not a brush cuckoo either?
