I think this is a varnish wattle? Maybe not. Something looks wrong! It was growing on the rocky cliff face.

Looks like Varnish to me, with flowers starting to form, and it does grow on rocky areas :)

Thank you! Maybe it was just because it was a bit more stunted than I've seen previously - or the flower buds more fully developed.
