Did you hear a call, often hard to distinguish from plumage only. Torresian Crow would be more likely given location though, and the lack of much throat hackles also hints at this (although it is hard to tell on an immature).

I did not hear a call, so judged it from colour of eye and feathers.

The black eye colour indicates an immature bird, rather than a distinguishing feature between species. The throat hackles are less pronounced than I would expect for an Aus Raven.

I would also think Torresion Crow from this image, were there any adult birds nearby that were calling?

No it was by itself. I did not see any others.

I think its good to confirm, this is the most likely species here.
