User's notes

I am only guessing the ID. Sorry not the best photos, hopefully, the audio will help with confirmation

Not a perfect image as noted and differential diagnosis is between a Fan-tail or Brush Cuckoo. I lean towards a Fan-tail on what appears to be a larger eye-ring and more white in the tail. The call may decide. Interested in other opinions.

Thanks for uploading the call, which confirms identification as Brush. But I can tell from the photos that this is a Brush since it has a grey eye-ring, differing from yellow in Fan-tailed. The underparts also appear more buff-toned than rufous as in Fan-tailed, but this is hard to tell from these photos. I'm not sure the amount of white in the tail is really an overly reliable feature.
