The noise of a squabble with a honeyeater attracted my attention.

Thank you for the identification. I got as far as guessing it might be some kind of cuckoo but koel never occurred to me. I haven't heard the tell-tale sound for some time, and on the rare occasions I have spotted the source of the sound it looked like a much darker bird. I assume this is the juvenile, and the wattlebird it was harassing is the reluctant 'parent'?
